With the TV on, press the MENU button 1; the Video menu
will appear. Press the VOLUME Up button 2 to select the
DTV SETUP menu.

Press the VOLUME Up 1 or Down 2 button to set the
option to BROADCAST or CUSTOM.

Press the VOLUME Up button 1 to enter the submenu,
then press the CHANNEL Up 2 or Down 3 button until the
desired option is selected (STYLE, SIZE, TEXT COLOR,
TEXT OPACITY, EDGE TYPE, BG COLOR or BG
OPACITY–see below for descriptions).
DTV CAPTION STYLE SETTINGS:
• STYLE: Select the font style for caption display; select
from Style1 to Style 8.
• SIZE: Select the font size for caption display; select from
Small, Standard or Large.
• TEXT COLOR: Select the font color for caption display.

Press the CHANNEL Up 1 or Down 2 button until DTV CC
is selected. Press the VOLUME Up button 3 to enter the
submenu, then press the CHANNEL Up 1 or Down 2
button until USER SETTING is selected.

If you select CUSTOM, you can change the caption size
and font style. Press the CHANNEL Up 1 or Down 2
button until DTV CAPTION STYLE is selected.

Press the VOLUME Up 1 or Down 2 button to adjust the
option as desired.
When done, press the EXIT button 3 to exit.
• TEXT OPACITY: Select the opacity for the font color for
caption display.
• EDGE TYPE: Show the caption display's font effect.
• BG (BACKGROUND) COLOR: Select a background color.
• BG (BACKGROUND) OPACITY: Select a background
opacity.
