Prerequisite for flushing

The following tools and aids are required for flushing the transport refrigeration
system:
• A/C service station with a flushing device
• 8885300127 Flushing adapter set III, 5 pieces
• 8885300104 Flushing adapter set V, 143 pieces

Instructions for use

DANGER! Danger of fatal electric shock!
Before starting any installation work, disconnect the battery and make sure
that no voltage can be transferred to the electrical components. Danger of
injury due to live electrical components. When connecting the electrical com-
po-nents, there is a risk of electric shock.

Improper interventions or fittings on and in the vehicle's electrical system and
electronics system can lead to impairment of the functions. This can lead to
the failure of vehicle-mounted components or vehicle safety equipment and
as a result to accidents involving personal injury or damage to the vehicle.

• The transport refrigeration system may only be installed by qualified per-
sonnel from a specialist company. The following information is intended for
technicians who are familiar with the guidelines and safety precautions to
be applied.
• Improper installation of the transport refrigeration system can result in irrep-
arable damage to the device and put the safety of the user at risk.
• The manufacturer assumes no liability for malfunctions and for the safety
of the transport refrigeration system, especially for injury and/or damage
to property, if the transport refrigeration system is not fitted in accordance
with this installation manual.
• Always wear the recommended protective clothing (e.g. protective gog-
gles, gloves).
