Recorder
The unit supports TV program recording. While watching TV program, you can record the
program into the USB storage device (USB flash drive or USB hard disk) via USB port. It also
supports timer recording. The program is saved in "*.mpg" format into the USB storage device for
playback at any time in the future.
Recording function description:
Input: MPEG2 TS, NIM input.
Output: MPEG2 PS package, *.MPG files.
Storage location for recorded file: the specified directory in the USB storage device.
Output file name: the combination of recording event serial number, recording
date(yyyy/mm/dd) and start time (hh:mm:ss). E.g. 0012(2007-04-16_11:10:45).MPG.
10.1 Limitation
1. Recommended to USB device
The USB storage device should support USB 2.0. The following brands of USB hard disk are
recommended as they are qualified by stability test. Disk speed: 5400rpm at least.

2. Limitation to file system
Only support the devices in FAT32 file system.
3. Limitation to stream rate
The maximum rate is 6Mbps supported.
