7.4 Installation
To enter into "Installation" menu, you are required to input a 4-digit password. The default
password is "0000"(four zeros).
There are two kinds of Installation mode as below:
Auto Search
Manual Search

7.4.1 Auto Search
Auto search is the most convenient way to search channels. Please do as the following steps for
auto search.
1)
Choose "Auto Search" option in "Installation" menu to enter into "Channel Search" menu as
shown in Fig6-4. It will start to search channels automatically.

Wait until the search completed. The found channels will be automatically stored. When
finished, if one or more channels are found, it will return to "Installation" menu and display the
first channel in the preview window. Otherwise, it will return back to "Installation" menu and
display "Database Empty".
7.4.2 Manual Search
If you are familiar with digital TV and know the frequency of the program or search the program
at any frequency required, you can select "Manual Search", which can save you much time.
1)
Move the cursor to "Manual search" by pressing "UP/DOWN" key under "Installation" menu.
Then press OK key to enter into manual search page as shown in Fig7-26.

In "Manual Search" menu, there is only one option (Channel Name) to adjust. Press
LEFT/RIGHT key to choose the channel number you prefer and press OK key. It will enter
into "Channel Search" and search channels automatically.
3)
Wait until the search completed. The found channels will be automatically stored. If one or
more channels are found, it will return to "Installation" menu and display the first channel in
the preview window. Otherwise, it will return back to "Installation" menu and display
"Database Empty".
