MOUNTING AND INSTRUCTIONS
Submersion of Pump into Well
For further information on installation, refer to "Drawings of Installation in
the Well".
1- Secure a carrier bracket below the coupling at the upper part of the
0.5-meter short riser.
2- Secure the riser to the forcing port of the pump with a screw.
- In 10150 and 10200 types of 10" submersible pumps, the valve
casing is screwed to the short riser.
- In 6010, 6015, 6020 types of 6" submersible pumps, gears on the
short riser are cleansed of oil, dirt, humidity and rust by alcohol
or thinner. Loctite or Lock series adhesives of 10 grams, supplied
with 6010, 6015, 6020 types, are spread over an area of 10 mil-
limetre from the tip of the short riser. The short riser is turned to
the vent body until it is secured there. Never use other material
such as putty or flax.
3- Before descending the pump into well, keep the pump in a humidity-
free environment for at least an hour without forcing the connection.
- Pump can be started maximum four hours later after the applica-
tion of adhesive.
4- Measuring the resistance of insulation: Measure the insulation of each
duct by making one end of the Meger Unit touch each of the four-duct
electricity cable and the other end touch the pump casing.
-The insulation of the duct with a frame conductor is 0 mega ohm
- Others should be:
tion problems may occur.
Test voltage has to be 500V DC.
