Mounting the Attachment
6.1
Preparations for Mounting the
Attachment
WARNING
To reduce the risk of injury, always shut off the
engine before converting the basic power tool.
NOTICE
Make sure the work area is clean before mount‐
ing or removing the attachment.
► Rest the power tool on the machine support.
6.1.1
Removing the Protective Cap
If a cap is fitted on the end of the power tool's
drive tube:
► Pull the protective cap off the end of the drive
tube and keep it in a safe place.
If the plug comes out of the drive tube when you
pull off the cap:
► Push the plug into the drive tube as far as
stop.
