Assembling the Blower

:
Push the nozzle onto the blower
tube as far as the lug and turn it
clockwise to lock in position.
To reduce the risk of injury, operate
the blower only with a properly
mounted blower tube.

Mounting
:
Engage lug (1) on drive tube in
slot (2) in the coupling sleeve and
push home the drive tube as far as
stop.
:
When correctly installed, the small
gap between the intake screen (3)
and the coupling sleeve must be no
more than 5 mm.
:
Tighten the wing screw (4) firmly.
Removing
:
Reverse the above sequence to
remove the drive tube.
Starting / Stopping
the Engine
Starting the Engine
Always follow the starting procedure
outlined in the instruction manual of the
basic power tool or CombiEngine you
are using.
Start the engine on a clean, dust-
free surface so that the unit does not
ingest dust.
:
Place the unit on the ground – make
sure bystanders are well clear of the
nozzle outlet.
