NSTALLATION
This section describes how to prepare to install the HRE-450 List 4A, and how to install and wire the unit.

NSPECTING
OUR
When you receive the equipment, inspect it for signs of damage. If the equipment has been damaged in transit,
immediately report the extent of damage to the transportation company and to ADC.
In addition to this technical practice, your shipment should consist of:
•
One HRE-450 List 4A enclosure
•
Installation Kit containing:
–
three wood screws (#10 x 1.5 in.) (two for installation, one spare)
–
three anchor nuts (#10 x 1 in.) (two for installation, one spare)
–
three flat washers (#10 CPS/ZPS) (two for installation, one spare)
–
one cable tie (5.5 in. length, 0.15 in. width)
If any of the above items are missing, or the shipment is damaged, please contact your ADC sales representative.

OCATING THE
To install the HRE-450 List 4A, you need the following tools:
•
No. 2 screwdriver
•
Drill
•
Wood or metal or concrete drill bits (depending on installation surface)
•
Hammer
•
Two Type 216C (

NSTALLING THE
Install the HRE-450 List 4A onto a concrete or wood surface, such as a wall or telephone pole, using the hardware
provided in the Installation Kit. The HRE-450 must be installed above ground, in a location that provides access
to wiring and grounding connections. To install the unit:
