ELECTRIC KETTLE

Dear Buyer!
We congratulate you on having
bought the device under trade
name "Saturn". We are sure that
our devices will become essential
and reliable assistance in your
housekeeping.
Avoid
extreme
changes.
Rapid
change (e.g. when the unit is
moved from freezing temperature
to a warm room) may cause con-
densation inside the unit and a
malfunction when it is switched
on. In this case leave the unit at
room temperature for at least 1.5
hours before switching it on.
Before using the appliance, the user
should read the following instructions
carefully.
Connection to the mains supply
The appliance should only be connect-
ed to an earthed socket installed in
accordance with the regulations. Make
sure that the supply voltage corre-
sponds with the voltage marked on
the rating label.

Important safety instructions
● Before the appliance is used, the
main unit as well as any attachment
fitted should be checked thoroughly
for any defects. Should the appliance,
for instance, have been dropped onto
a hard surface, it must not be used
any longer: even invisible damage
may have adverse effects on the op-
erational safety of the appliance.
● This appliance is not intended for
use by any person (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lacking experi-
ence and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety.
It is not advised to use this appliance
by children under 14.
● Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
● Do not leave the water kettle unat-
tended during operation. Use only

pure water when filling the container
to the desired level, observing the
Min. and Max. markings.
● Overfilling the container may cause
danger from boiling water being forced
out. Also beware of the danger of
scalding from hot steam being emit-
ted.
Therefore, do not touch any parts of
the appliance except the handle during
use.
● The housing becomes hot during
use.
Caution! During the boiling process
and when pouring out hot water, the
lid must be kept closed at all times.
● The kettle may only be operated
with the base provided with the appli-
ance.
● The appliance must be used only on
a heat-resistant, level surface.
● Do not allow the appliance or its
power cord to come into contact with
open flames or any hot surfaces such
as hotplates.
● Do not let the power cord hang free,
and keep the cord well away from hot
parts of the housing.
● Always remove the plug from the
wall socket,
- in case of any malfunction,
- after use,
- during cleaning of the appliance.
● No responsibility is accepted if dam-
age results from improper use, or if
these instructions are not complied
with.
● This kettle is intended for domestic
use only and not for commercial appli-
cations.
● In order to comply with safety regu-
lations and to avoid hazards, repairs
of electrical appliances must be car-
ried out by qualified personnel, includ-
ing the replacement of the power
cord. If repairs are needed, please
send the appliance to one of our cus-
tomer service departments. The ad-
dress can be found in the appendix to
this manual.
Service life - 3 years. Before putting
into operation shelf life is unlimited.
Thermal safety cut-out
The preset thermal safety cut-out pro-
tects the heating element from over-
heating should the appliance be erro-
neously switched on without any wa-
ter, or if the heating element is calci-
fied. Once the safety cut-out has
switched off the kettle, it must be al-
lowed to cool down sufficiently, or
must be descaled before it is switched
on again.
