than normal.
Washer is
continually going
out of balance.
Too much or too
little water when
filling on auto
water level.
Washer is making
noises.
Small puddle
coming from

TROUBLESHOOTING
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Clothes are unevenly
distributed in the bowl.
The outer wash bowl may
still be hot from being filled
with hot water.
Washer may not be level.
Too much water for the load
The washer needs to
determine the correct water
level for the load.
Some loads do not
suit 'Auto' water level,
eg pillows.
Banging.
Other noises.
The water level is too high
for the amount of clothes
and has caused excessive
splashing.
Large bulky garments
(eg pillows, duvet) can
cause splashing.
WHAT TO DO
Washer has compensated by
lowering the spin speed.
The washer has slowed the spin
speed as a protective measure.
Check the washer is level and does
not rock in any direction. (Refer to
'Installation instructions – Levelling
instructions' page 9).
Ensure an appropriate water level is
selected for the load size (or select
'Auto' water level).
Refer to 'Changing pre-set options
– Out of balance' page 38 for more
information to change the out of
balance recovery mode.
Refer to the 'Wash options' section
page 28.
Manually select the most
appropriate water level for the load.
Load is out of balance. Touch
and redistribute the load.
Refer to the 'Caring for your washer'
section.
Select a lower water level. (Refer
to 'Wash options – Water level'
page 28).
