General problems with the washing machine

Problem
The machine vibrates dur-
ing the spin cycle.
Large amounts of deter-
gent residue remain in the
detergent dispenser
drawer.
Fabric softener is not com-
pletely dispensed or too
much water remains in the
 compartment.
The display is in a different
language.
The door will not open.

Possible cause and solution
The machine feet are not level.
Level the machine and adjust the feet.
The water flow pressure is too low.
Clean the filters in the water intake.
Powder detergent used in conjunction with water softeners
tends to become sticky.
Clean the detergent dispenser drawer and in future, add
detergent first and then the water softener into the com-
partment.
The siphon is not correctly positioned or is clogged up.
Clean the siphon (see "Cleaning and care – Cleaning the
detergent dispenser drawer").
A different language has been selected in "Settings" 
"Language" .
Set the language you want. The flag symbol will guide
you.
There is no power to the machine.
Check that the machine is switched on.
Check that the power supply to the machine is
switched on.
Check whether the fuse or circuit breaker has tripped.
Power failure
Open the drum door as described in the next section.
There is still water in the drum and the machine is unable
to drain.
Check if the drain system is blocked. Clean the
drainage system as described in the next section.
For safety reasons the drum door cannot be opened if the
suds temperature is higher than 130 °F / 55 °C.
