Disposal of your old machine

Old electrical and electronic machines often still contain valuable ma-
terials. However, they also contain harmful substances that were es-
sential for the proper functioning and safe use of the equipment. Han-
dling these materials improperly or disposing of them in your house-
hold waste can be harmful to your health and the environment. There-
fore, please do not dispose of your old machine with regular house-
hold waste.
Electrical and electronic machines often contain materials which, if
handled or disposed of incorrectly, could be potentially hazardous to
human health and to the environment. They are, however, essential
for the correct functioning of your machine. Please do not therefore
dispose of your old machine with your household waste.
Energy-saving tips
- Make use of the maximum load that the wash program can ac-
commodate.
The most efficient use of energy and water is achieved when a full
load is washed.
- Do not exceed the amounts of detergent recommended on the
packaging.
- Reduce the amount of detergent for smaller loads.
Select the highest possible spin speed for the wash program to save
energy in the subsequent drying cycle.
