General problems with the washing machine

Problem
The washing machine vi-
brates during the spin
cycle.
Large amounts of detergent
residue remain in the deter-
gent drawer.
Fabric conditioner is not
completely dispensed or
too much water remains in
the  compartment.
The display is in a different
language.
The door will not open.

Cause and remedy
The machine feet are not level and not secured.
Level the washing machine and secure the feet.

The water flow pressure is too low.
Clean the water inlet filters.

When powder detergent is used in conjunction with water
softeners it tends to become sticky.
Clean the detergent drawer and in future, add detergent

first and then the water softener into the compartment.
The siphon is not correctly positioned or is clogged.
Clean the siphon (see "Cleaning and care – Cleaning the

detergent drawer").
A different language has been selected in "Settings "
"Language ".
Set the language you want. The flag symbol serves as a

guide.
There is no power to the machine.
Check whether the machine is switched on.

Check whether the machine is connected to the power

supply.
Check whether the main fuse or circuit breaker has

tripped.
Power failure
Open the drum door as described in the next section.

There is still water in the drum and the machine is unable
to drain.
Check whether the drainage system is blocked. Clean

the drainage system as described in the next section.
For safety reasons the drum door cannot be opened if the
suds temperature is higher than 50 °C.
