TAPE BLADE

The Tape Blade can save data by using data cartridges listed in the table below.

WORM DATA CARTRIDGE

Write-Once Read-Many (WORM) data cartridge provides for an enhanced level of data security
against accidental or malicious alteration of data on tape cartridge. The WORM data cartridge can
be appended to maximize full capacity of the tape cartridge, but the user will be unable to erase or
overwrite data on the cartridge. WORM data cartridges are clearly indentified their distinctive,
two-tone cartridge color.
To check whether your backup or archive software application supports the WORM cartridges, refer
to the manual supplied with the software application.

DATA ENCRYPTION CAPABILITY

This Tape Blade has a data encryption function (Encryption Capable). To use this functionality, it is
required for the backup application to have a capability to handle a encryption data. Please check if
your using backup application can support the Data encryption function or not.
