7. Locate the wires leading to the heating element
terminals and pull down the 2 ny lon terminal
covers.
8. Disconnect the 2 wires from the heating
element .

9. Remove the outer 8-mm nut that attaches the
ground wire to the element mounting bolt .

10. Remove the inner 8-mm nut , washer, and
spacer that attaches the element to the bottom
of the tub.

11. Lift the right side of the element and release it
from the 2 retainers.
