1.
Loosen the clamping screw of the cutting depth ruler (17).
2.
Set the desired cutting depth in accordance with the
reading on the cutting depth ruler (2).
Tighten the clamping screw of the cutting depth ruler (17). [F5]
Adjusting the cutting angle
The power tool design enables the stepless cutting angle
adjustment within the range from 0° to 45°.
1.
Loosen the wing screw for angle adjustment (8) and the
clamping screw of the base plate (20). [F6]
2.
Set the desired cutting angle in accordance with the
reading on the case inclination ruler (6).
3.
Tighten the clamping screws (8) and the clamping screw of
the base plate/guide plate (20).
4.
Increase or decrease the cutting depth by raise or lower
the base plate (9), if necessary. [F6]
Cutting with the aid of the parallel guide
The parallel guide (14) enables cutting along the existing
straight edge of the workpiece, as well as cutting the bars of
equal width.
1.
Loosen the clamping screw of the parallel guide (7).
2.
Set the desired cutting width in accordance with the reading
on the parallel stop scale (14).
Tighten the clamping screw of the parallel guide (7). [F7]
Maintenance and storage
CAUTION
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the mains plug.
Always keep the tool and the ventilation slots (if present)
cleaned. Regular cleaning and maintenance of the appliance
will ensure efficiency and prolong the life of your tool.
If the tool should fail despite the rigorous manufacturing
and testing procedures, the repair should be carried out by an
authorized IVT customer service.
Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws tight, to be sure the tool is in
safe working condition.
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
Use only original spare parts. Parts not produced by
manufacturer may cause poor fit and possible injury.
Store the tool in a dry room out of reach of kids and away
from any flammable material.
Never wet the device or spray water on it!
Environmental protection
Recycle raw materials instead of disposing as
waste.
Tool, accessories and packaging should be sorted for
environment-friendly recycling.
The plastic components are labelled for categorized recycling.
These instructions are printed on recycled paper manufactured
without chlorine.
