Water connection
Regularly check that the shut-off cock, hoses,
seals and connection pieces are functioning
correctly.
Use only clean tap water. The water pressure
must not exceed 6 bar.
Only use the machine when it properly
connected to the water supply.
Do not allow water within the vicinity of the
machine or close to people in the working
area.
Always position the machine so that no water
can enter the machine or come in contact with
electrical components.
- Ensure that the shut-off cock (1) is closed.
- Ensure that the water tap to the water supply is
closed.
- Fit a water hose (1/2 inch or 13mm ) with a
standard self-locking quick connector to the
connection piece (2) until it locks into place.
- Open the water tap to the water supply.
To remove the hose, close the water tap to the
water supply and then open the shut-off cock
(1) to release the pressure in the hose. When
removing the hose, make sure that no water enters
the machine. Close the shut-off cock (1).

7.1
Setting speed
The speed can be preset via the setting wheel (19)
and is infinitely variable.
Positions 1-6 correspond approximately to the
following no-load speeds:
1 ........ 1700 / min
2 ........ 2700 / min
3 ........ 3500 / min
The VTC electronics make material-compatible
work possible and an almost constant speed, even
under load.
7.2
Switching On and Off
Switch on first, then guide the accessory
towards the workpiece.
14
4....... 4100 / min
5....... 4800 / min
6....... 5400 / min
The machine must not be allowed to draw in
additional dust and shavings. When switching
the machine on and off, keep it away from dust
deposits. After switching off the machine, only place
it down when the motor has come to a standstill.
Avoid inadvertent starts: always switch the
tool off when the plug is removed from the
mains socket or if there has been a power cut.
In continuous operation, the machine
continues running if it is forced out of your
hands. Therefore, always hold the machine with
both hands using the handles provided, stand in a
safe position and concentrate.
To switch on: Connect the machine to the power
supply. Push the RESET button (6). Push the
sliding switch (12) forward. For continuous
activation, now tilt downwards until it
engages.
Switching off: Press the rear end of the slide
switch (12) and release.
