1. Mark the cover and body for assembly.
2. Four screws (1) and washers (2). ;
3. Separate body (14) and cover (3).
4. Piston spring (13).
5. Piston assemblies (5) and (11).
6. Separate the two pistons.
7. O-ring (4) from upper piston (5).
8. Retaining ring (7).
9. Washer (8).
10. Spring (9).
11. Valve (10).
12. O-rings (6 and 12) from piston (11).

Inspect
• Valve seats and piston surfaces for wear and cor
rosion.'Fleplace as heeded.

Lubricate seals, seal grooves, piston bores, and all
moving surfaces with a film of Delco Silicone Lube
(GM P/N 18010909 or equivalent).
• Use only new rubber seals from the repair kit.
