Installation

Check the Configuration and Set-Points in
the DynaView Display
Important:
Verify CH530 firmware is upgraded to the
most recent version before creating the
chiller service report for conversion to
Symbio.
The conversion utility is only designed to
work with the most recent version of CH530
firmware.
1. Check the current configuration of the DynaView and
confirm that all settings are correct. Make any
necessary changes.

2. Be sure to check all of the boxes to ensure that you get
a complete report.
WARNING
Hazardous Voltage w/Capacitors!
Failure to disconnect power and discharge capacitors
before servicing could result in death or serious injury.
Disconnect all electric power, including remote
disconnects and discharge all motor start/run
capacitors before servicing. Follow proper lockout/
tagout procedures to ensure the power cannot be
inadvertently energized. For variable frequency drives
or other energy storing components provided by Trane
or others, refer to the appropriate manufacturer's
literature for allowable waiting periods for discharge of
capacitors. Verify with a CAT III or IV voltmeter rated
per NFPA 70E that all capacitors have discharged.

2. Check all of the current chiller set-points programmed
into the DynaView and confirm that they are all correct
for the unit. Make any necessary changes.
Save the DynaView Configuration and
Set-Points
Using KestrelView™ on a PC or laptop computer:
1. Generate a Chiller Service report from the DynaView
with Level 4 active.
Shut Down Power
1. Using Lock out Tag out safety procedures, shut down
the chiller's main power.
2. Open all starter and control panel disconnect switches
and secure them in the open position.
3. Confirm that the power is off to the control panel of the
chiller.
