You can also use the System Monitor
> xDSL Statistics menu to determine
what the link condition is (in terms of
SNR), and what the upstream and
downstream values are (frames
sent/ received, etc.).
•
SNR margin may indicate poor
line condition, requiring line
maintenance/ replacement.
Additional line testing may be
required.
•
An ideal, perfect SNR margin
should be between 6-8dBm,
although on very short loops the
value may be higher. Values
lower than 6dBm should be
investigated.
•
For bonded DSL, be sure to use
the Line drop-down to review
Line 0 or Line 1.
