To set the TV temporarily to st andby mode.
To switch on the TV set, press Standby
button, Programme button (CH -, +), any digit
between 0 and 9 or AV source button.
(The amber light indicates when set is in
standby mode)
For direct access to programmes
For a 2-digit programme number, the 2nd
digit must be entered before the dash
disappears.
In PC/Video 'STANDBY' mode, press any of
number keys to return to 'ON' in TV mode.
To turn on or off the OSD (On -Screen
Display)
To return to last item in OSD & clear men u
from screen
To adjust the sound level.
To access the sub-menus and adjust the
settings.
To access the last programme viewed.
To select PC, TV, AV, S-Video and HD
mode.
In PC 'standby' mode, press SOURCE to
switch to TV mode.
To disable sound.
To restore sound, press button again.
To switch from STEREO to MONO or to
choose between Dual I and Dual II for
bilingual transmissions.
For TV sets fitted with NICAM reception,
depending on thetransmission, you can
switch from NICAM STEREO to MONO or
choose between NICAM DUAL I, NICAM
DUAL II and MONO.
To move up or down a programme.
To move the cursor up/down to scroll
through a list of options.
In PC/Video 'Standb y' mode, press CH+/ - to
return to 'on' in TV mode.
To show OSD status.
To select the period of time after which the
set will switch automatically to standby mode
(up to 240 minutes)
To switch between Standard Mode, 4 :3
Mode, Full Screen Mode and Nonlinear
Scaling Mode video format for optimum
viewing ratio.
