Ensure that the floppy and
IDE cables have been removed
from the cable clip on the
assembly.
Disconnect
the fan from the
connector near the
right-hand edge of
the system board.

Step 7: Adding a Second Processor
Remove the processor
terminator in the second slot.
The Pentium II processor is
delivered with the latches OUT,
ready for insertion into the slot.
Align the processor with the
slot, then push it down into the
slot until you hear an audible
click (on both sides).
If a second processor is added, a second VRM must also be added.
Step 6: Removing/Reinstalling the Lower Airflow Guide + Fan Assembly
Lift the lower airflow
guide + fan assembly
straight up and out of the
chassis.
When reinstalling
the assembly, be sure to
line up the side of the
processor with the slots
on each side of the
assembly.
