Step 14: Removing/Reconnecting Other Cables
Disconnect and remove all
other cables (for example,
power cables, CD-ROM audio
cable, external start cable, LCD
status panel cable, etc.)
Step 15: Removing/Reinstalling the System Board
Reinstalling the system board: To reinstall the system board, reverse the above steps.
Step 14: Removing/Reconnecting Other Cables
Open and remove the gate
on the right-hand side of the
chassis as shown.
Remove the two quick-release
screws on the backplane of the
chassis.
Using the pull-loop at the back right-
hand side, pull the system board towards
the front of the chassis until the three
tabs of the CPU guide slide out of their
slots on the bottom of the chassis.
Remove the system board through the
open chassis gate.
