System will not boot from
CD-ROM drive or DVD-
ROM drive.
Data read from CD-ROM
drive or DVD-ROM drive is
inconsistent or drive
cannot read data.

devices are not detected,
driver is not loaded.
Solving CD-ROM Drive or DVD-ROM Drive Problems
Problem
The CD-ROM or DVD-ROM
boot is not enabled through
the Setup utility.
Paper or plastic label has
been applied to surface of the
CD in use.
CD-ROM drive or DVD-ROM
drive is not connected
properly or not properly
terminated.
