If you are printing with only Direct Print, skip this section and go to "Installing the Print
Head" on page 6.
Use a USB cable.

• Windows XP, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows 98
• Mac OS 8.6 or later
Recommended: Canon or other computer manufacturer cable, up to 2 meters in length.

Place the printer on a flat surface.

Remove the packing material and tape
from the printer as shown.

Attach the paper rest to the sheet
feeder.
