POST Error Messages
Recommended Action
Run Computer Setup (F10 Setup).
Disconnect any other diskette controller
devices (tape drives).
Clear CMOS.
Reinstall tape drive or press F1 and
allow system to reconfigure without the
drive.
Run Computer Setup and check the
configuration in Advanced >

Onboard Devices.

Replace system board if minimal
graphics degrading is an issue.
No action required.
Reconnect or replace hood locking
mechanism.
Reseat or replace hood locking
mechanism cable.
Reconnect or replace front audio
harness.
Reconnect or replace front USB harness.
Unplug computer and install/reinstall
riser cord.
Try rebooting the system. If the error
reoccurs, the device may not work with
this system.
Remove any serial port expansion cards.
Clear CMOS.
Reconfigure card resources and/or run
Computer Setup or Windows utilities.
