GEARBOX

The gearbox should be full and not require additional lubricant unless the box is cracked or a seal is
leaking. It is recommended that the oil level dipstick (Figure MntP-R-0278) be removed to check oil level
after every 8 hours of operation. If required, oil should be added until it comes to proper level.
Recommended lubricant is EP80W-90 or EP85W-140 Gear Oil.(See Table 1: GEARBOX OIL CAPACITY)
NOTE: Make sure mower is level when checking oil in the gearbox.
Do not over-fill. If gearboxes
are filled above the Dipstick
level, Pressure under working conditions may
cause grease seals to leak.

TAIL WHEEL ASSEMBLY

Tail Wheel Bearings are packed at the factory with
heavy-duty bearing grease. Grease Fittings are
provided in the Wheel Hub and Tail Wheel Beam.
Grease after 8 hours of use. Figure MntP-R-0191.
