Connect optional USB devices.
Reads optical discs and, on select models, writes to optical discs.
Flashing—Accessing the optical drive.
White—The computer is in Hibernate.

White—The hard disk drive is active.

Amber—The hard disk drive is parked.

On—The computer is connected to external power.
●
Off—The computer is not connected to external power.
Connects an AC adapter.
Connects an optional security cable. The security cable is designed
to act as a deterrent, but might not prevent the computer from being
mishandled or stolen.
Function
Enable airflow to cool internal components.
NOTE:
The computer fan starts up automatically to cool internal
components and prevent overheating. It is normal for the internal
fan to cycle on and off during routine operation.
