2. Lift the front edge of the metal drive cage shield and swing it
approximately 45 degrees upward. Then pull it toward you.
The shield pivots along the four tabs extending into the metal
plate at the rear of the drive cage shield.

3. After removing the drive cage shield, disconnect the cable(s)
connecting the half-height drive to the expansion base.
4. Lift the drive cage and attached half-height drive out of the
expansion base.
