To remove the Lithium Real Time clock (RTC) battery, complete the following steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Page 5-3).
2. Raise the keyboard (Page 5-14).
3. Place the tabs on the keyboard in the slots provided in the top cover.
4. Press the retaining clip toward the center of the computer.
5. Lift the battery cover from the computer.
