Refer to the following figures and descriptions to
become familiar with the basic controls and com-
ponents of this machine. Understanding these
items and how they work will help you understand
the rest of the manual and minimize your risk of
injury when operating this machine.

A. Digital Readout: Displays time setting or fan
speed setting (depending on which indicator
is illuminated).
B. Air Quality Sensors: Detect amount of
particulate matter (PM
organic compounds (VOC) in air.

C. Filter 1 Indicator: Remains blue during nor-
mal operations. Turns red after 300 hours
run-time to indicate HEPA filter must be
replaced.
D. Filter 2 Indicator: Remains blue during nor-
mal operations. Turns red after 600 hours
run-time to indicate activated carbon filter
must be replaced.
E. Air QUALITY Indicator: Illumination cycles
between green, orange, and red as changing
levels of particulate matter (PM2.5) and vola-
tile organic compounds (VOC) are detected
by air quality sensors. Green is lowest level;
red is highest level.

on/off Button: Powers machine ON and
OFF.
G. Auto Indicator: Illuminates when fan speed
has been set to automatic mode. In this
mode, machine will automatically adjust fan
speed according to air quality, with fan speed
increasing as air quality worsens. As air qual-
ity improves, fan speed will automatically
decrease.
H. Fan Indicator: Illuminates when fan speed
setting is displayed on digital readout.

Time Indicator: Illuminates when time set-
ting is displayed on digital readout.
