Troubleshooting

Possible Solution
1. Ensure correct power supply voltage and circuit size.
2. Replace batteries (Page 27); point remote directly at
control panel. If broken or damaged, replace remote.
3. Make sure infrared receiver on control panel is not
blocked; use remote closer to filter.
4. Ensure circuit is free of shorts. Reset circuit breaker or
replace fuse.
5. Fix broken wires or disconnected/corroded
connections.
6. Inspect/replace if faulty.
7. Replace control panel/remote.
8. Inspect/replace if at fault.
9. Test/repair/replace.
1. Clean motor, let cool, and reduce workload.
2. Test/repair/replace.
3. Move machine closer to power supply; use shorter
extension cord.
4. Replace motor.
1. Replace damaged or missing bolts/nuts or tighten if
loose.
2. Tighten/replace.
3. Fix/replace fan cover; replace loose/damaged fan.
4. Test by rotating shaft; rotational grinding/loose shaft
requires bearing replacement.
Possible Solution
1. Stabilize air filter (Page 19).
2. Unplug air filter, inspect impeller for dents, bends.
Replace impeller if any damage is found.
3. Make sure all fasteners on motor mount are tight.
4. Replace motor fan housing.
1. Clean filters; replace with new filters if performance
does not improve (Page 26).
2. Locate filter in area with good air circulation and away
from any obstructions (Page 18).
