Gently vacuum pre-filter to remove dust
buildup.

Remove primary filter from intake side of
machine (see Figure 25).

DO NOT use compressed air to blow out
filters in the following steps. This can cause
damage to the filters.

Gently vacuum primary filter to remove dust
buildup, being careful not to damage filter.

Unscrew lock knobs on exhaust side of
machine to open filter access door and
remove secondary filter (see Figure 26).

Primary Filter
The remote control uses two AAA batteries. To
replace them, slide the battery compartment
cover down and off the remote (see Figure 27).
Insert new batteries in the proper direction and
replace the cover.
Secondary
Filter
When the air filter is not in use, unplug the power
cord from the power source. Secure the power
cord away from potential hazards, such as high
traffic areas, sharp objects, heat sources, harsh
chemicals or fumes, damp areas, etc.
Gently vacuum secondary filter to remove
dust buildup, being careful not to damage
filter.
Visually inspect all filters to see if they need
to be replaced.
Note: During regular use, filters can be
cleaned several times before replacement
becomes necessary.
Re-install or replace air filters, paying atten-
tion to airflow direction indicated on filters.
