    Copying Copying from the Bypass Tray The optional bypass tray is required to use this function. Use the bypass tray to copy onto spe- cial paper (OHP transparencies, label paper (adhesive labels), thick paper (for example: postcards and enve- lopes), thin paper), and copy paper that cannot be loaded in the paper trays.

    Selecting Copy Paper There are two ways to select copy paper: ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ Auto Paper Select The machine selects a suitable size of copy paper automatically based on the original size and the reproduction ratio. ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ Manual Paper Select Choose the tray containing the paper you wish to copy onto: a paper tray, by- pass tray or large capacity tray (LCT).

This function works when Auto Paper Select or Auto Reduce/Enlarge is selected.

    Copying Preset Reduce/Enlarge You can select a preset ratio for copy- ing. ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ Base Point The base point of Reduce/Enlarge differs depending on how the orig- inal is scanned. When the Original is set on the exposure glass, the up- per left corner will be the base point.
