in this step or Step 2, the CID automatically
sets the area code to
remove the batteries, wait about 2 minutes
(to reset the memory), then start from Step 1.
2. Repeat Step 1 to set the second and third
digits of your area code.
3. When you set the area code's last digit,
press , the CID beeps once and
CALLBACK
displays 12:00AM 1/01
The telephone company sends the correct
time with each incoming call, so the correct
date and time are automatically set when the
system receives its first call.
