PROBLEM
Heater

CAUSE
Improper operation
Loose wiring
Defective main control board
Defective heater assembly
Improper operation
Build up of dirt/dust in heater assembly
Defective heater assembly
Defective relay board
Defective heater assembly
Normal operation
Defective heater assembly
Improper initialization of electronics
Defective heater assembly
There is a small current of electricity run-
ning through the motor
Dirty heater assembly
Defective heater assembly
Flicker rod hitting or rubbing against internal
components
Defective flicker motor
SOLUTION
Refer to Operation section Ensure set temperature is
above current temperature
Trace wiring in unit
Replace the main control board
Replace heater assembly
Refer to Operation section. Ensure set temperature is
above room temperature.
Ensure that exterior intake louvers and firebox cavity
are free of dirt/dust.
Replace heater assembly
Replace relay board
Replace heater assembly
Normal operation is when the heater emits an odor
for a brief period after the heater is initially turned on.
The heater is burning off any dust accumulated during
manufacturing or operation.
Replace heater assembly
Unplug unit wait 20 minutes and plug back in
Replace heater assembly
A small amount of noise is normal
Excessive buzzing noise can be minimized by use of
power regulator board installation
Ensure that exterior intake louvers and firebox cavity
are free of dirt/dust.
Replace heater assembly
Ensure rod is straight and mounted properly in the
bracket, spinning freely away from other components.
Replace if necessary.
Replace flicker motor
