It is necessary to descale your appliance at regular intervals. This is the only way to
prevent damage.
Your appliance has a system that automatically displays when it needs descaling. It is
preset to a water hardness 4. Change the value if your water is softer.

Information on the hardness of the water in your area can be obtained from the
local water board.

Turn the FUNCTION KNOB to
"OFF" position.

Turn the SELECTION KNOB to the
desired water hardness.

Press the STEAm CLEAN and the
START button at the same time
and hold for 3 seconds.

Press the SELECT button.
