the display.

Resetting to default settings
If you have changed the preset settings, you can reset the appliance to the
default settings as follows:
Note: The appliance resets all menu parameters except the language and the
clock.

Press the MENU button.
The button lights up.

Press the ^ button until the message 'RESET TO DEFAULT?' appears
on the display

Press the OK button.
While the appliance is resetting, the message 'SETTING' is shown on

the display.
When the reset is complete, the message 'SETTING DONE!' is

shown on the display.
The appliance automatically exits the MENU mode.

Cleaning
Let the appliance cool down and unplug it before you clean it.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids
such as petrol or acetone to clean the appliance. Only use a damp cloth.
Cleaning the appliance

Clean the waste bin after brewing 14 cups. See chapter 'Using the
espresso maker', section 'Brewing espresso'.

Clean the water tank regularly.

The drip tray has a red level indicator that shows how much water it
contains. Empty and clean the drip tray when the indicator becomes
visible.
