Equilibrare la tensione del filo dell'ago

z La tensione del filo è regolata a seconda dei materiali da
cucire, degli strati di tessuto e di altre condizioni di
cucitura.
Il punto diritto ideale ha i fili visti tra due strati di tessuto
come illustrato nella figura (ingrandita per mostrarne i
particolari).
Per un punto a zigzag ideale, il filo della spoletta non si
vede a destra (lato superiore) del tessuto, e il filo dell'ago
si vede leggermente sul rovescio (parte inferiore) del
tessuto.
q Filo dell'ago (filo superiore)
w Filo della spoletta (filo inferiore)
e Lato destro (lato superiore) del tessuto
r Rovescio (lato inferiore) del tessuto
t Rotella di tensione del filo
y Segno di impostazione
x Il filo della spoletta (filo inferiore) apparirà sul lato destro
(lato superiore) del tessuto. Allentare la tensione del filo
dell'ago portando il la rotella su un numero inferiore.
c Il filo dell'ago (filo superiore) apparirà sul rovescio (lato
inferiore) del tessuto. Serrare la tensione del filo
dell'ago portando la rotella su un numero superiore.

Balancing Needle Thread Tension

z The thread tension is adjusted depending on the
sewing materials, layers of fabric and sewing method.
The ideal straight stitch has threads locked between
two layers of fabric, as illustrated (magnified to show
detail).
For an ideal zigzag stitch, the bobbin thread does not
show on the right side (top side) of the fabric, and the
needle thread shows slightly on the wrong side
(bottom side) of the fabric.

r Wrong side (Bottom side) of fabric
t Thread tension dial
y Setting mark
x When the bobbin thread (bottom thread) appears on the
right side (top side) of the fabric, loosen the needle
thread tension by moving the dial to a lower number.
c When the needle thread (top thread) ppears on the
wrong side (bottom side) of the fabric, tighten the needle
thread tension by moving the dial to a higher number.
