Accelerometer

The accelerometer measures the static acceleration of gravity in tilt-sensing applications, as well as dynamic
acceleration resulting from motion or shock.
It has the following features:
• 2.16V to 3.6V supply voltage
• 1.8V compatible IOs
• low power consumption
• ±2g/±8g dynamically selectable scale
• embedded self test
• 10000g high shock survivability
• Pb free/RoHS compliancy
The accelerometer (N2501) is connected to I2C. One GENIO is reserved for interrupt.

Slide switch

This is a slide phone that wakes up when it slides open. It is implemented with two hall sensors mounted
on the main PWB and a magnet fitted to the sliding mechanism. The hall detector output is active low (0V)
and 1.8V when not active. This arrangement makes the phone able to detect closed and open position. The
two hall sensors are overlapping each other to cover the entire sliding range.

Audio concept

The functional core of the audio hardware is built around EM ASIC N2200 and RAP.
N2200 provides an interface for the transducers. Integrated hands free (IHF) stereo speakers are driven by
D-class audio amplifiers.
There are three audio transducers:
• 1 digital microphone
• 1 earpiece
• 1 IHF (internal handsfree) speaker
N2200 also provides an output for the vibra motor.
Most headsets, or other external audio accessories, can only be connected via Bluetooth.
