13. DO NOT cover or block any of the appliance openings.
14. DO NOT store or use this appliance outdoors. Do not use this product near water, for example,
near a sink, in a wet basement, near a swimming pool, or similar locations.
15. DO NOT operate the appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, or if
it has been damaged or dropped.
16. DO NOT immerse cord or plug in water. Keep cord away from hot surfaces. Do not allow cord to
hang over edge of table or counter.
17. Use only thermometers specifically designed for use in microwave ovens.
18. DO NOT operate any heat-generating or cooking appliances underneath this appliance.
19. Make sure that the glass dish and slide ring are in place when operating the oven.
20. This appliance should be serviced only by qualified service personnel. Contact the nearest
authorized service center for inspection, repair or adjustment.
21. When cleaning door and oven surfaces that come in contact when the door is closed, use only a
sponge or cloth to apply mild, non-abrasive soaps or detergents.
22. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Close supervision is necessary when handicapped persons or children are near or using any
appliance.
PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXCESSIVE EXPOSURE TO MICROWAVE ENERGY
1. DO NOT attempt to operate the oven with the door open as this could result in harmful exposure
to microwave energy. It is important not to defeat the function of the safety devices or tamper with
them.
2. DO NOT place objects between the front of the oven and the door, or allow dirt or cleaner residue
to accumulate on the contact and sealing surfaces.
3. DO NOT operate a faulty oven. It is imperative that the oven door closes properly and that there
is no damage to the following:
• The door (which is bent);
• The hinges and latches (not broken or loose);
• The door seals and the contact and sealing surfaces.
4. No one, except properly qualified personnel, should adjust or repair the oven.
