7. Procedure to Remove Four Way Valve
Procedure
Step
Recover the refrigerant.
According to the
procedure for the removal
related to the outside
panel, remove the front
panel (2) and the side
panel.
According to the
procedure for the removal
of switch box, remove the
switch box.
Unscrew the 1 screw
1
that fixes the coil for the
four way valve, and
then remove this coil.
2 Remove brazing from
the 4 places, and then
remove the four way
valve.
(Refer to point column.)

Warning Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power
supplies before disassembling work.
Procedure
Be sure to remove the four
way valve only after the
refrigerant is completely
recovered.

Coil for four
To prevent the four way
way valve
valve from exceeding a

temperature of 120°C,
Screw
conduct brazing work while
cooling the valve with wet
cloths or else.
