    Adjusting the Check Spring Tension Check spring tension is not necessary to adjust under normal conditions. However, you need to adjust the tension of the check spring when it is replaced. Setscrew C Setscrew 1. Remove the setscrews A (2 pcs.) and the lower thread guide plate.
