If the lens is provided with an extender, engage
the extender function, and repeat steps

The compensation values for when the lens
extender function is provided and for when it is
not are both stored in one file in memory.
The white shading adjustment is now complete.
The adjusted values are retained in the non-volatile
memory so that there is no need to adjust the white
shading again even after the unit's power is turned off.
When a multiple number of lenses are to be used,
refer to "Writing the white shading adjustment values
and flare adjustment values in the internal memory"
on the following pages.
