ATTACHING THE SHOULDER STRAP

While pressing the release but-
ton down and sideway
CD ,
slide
the buckle out of the buckle
shell in the direction of the
arrow ® .
CAUTION

Eyelet
Guide the end of the strap
through the slot on the GR-
A30U
CD
and the keeper ® ,
and fasten the strap's eyelet on
the buckle ' s hook

Then
slide the buck le back , as shown ,
unt il it cl icks @ .
How to adjust the length of the
shoulder strap
1. While pressing the release but-
ton, slide the buckle out and
pull some slack through the
buckle.
2. To lengthen the strap, feed the
strap from ® toward
CD .
To
shorten it, feed it from
CD
to-
ward ® .
• Do not attach a video light, other w ise its heat cou ld cause malfunction of the videoMovie.
EXTERNAL
MICROPHONE
To use another microphone, do the fo llowing :
Plug the external micrphone's cord into the micro-
phone jack.
•When using the optional wireless microphone unit,
plug the cable of receiver unit into the microphone
jack .
•S lide the microphone receiver unit into the
accessory shoe.

Al ign the screw and camera direction stud of the
tripod with the camera's tripod mounting socket and
stud hole, and firmly tighten the screw.
