Design and principle of operation
3.3.1
HCD hydraulic circuit operating func-
tion
For adjust the stroking time there are two speed control valves:
one valve regulates the opening rotation and the other valve the
closing rotation.
3.3.2
How to adjust the operating time (for
standard rotation - CW to Close top

Quarter-turn actuator HCD
Stroke Adjustment time in opening rotation
Unscrew the knob safety blocking screw of the speed control
valve (1) (right position from top view)
Open or close the speed control valve until the desired stroke
time rotation is achieved
Make rotation test to verify the correct stroke time in opening
rotation. Repeat the previous steps if necessary
Once the desired operating time is achieved tighten the safe-
ty blocking screw to lock the knob in place.
Stroke Adjustment time in closing rotation
Unscrew the knob safety blocking screw of the speed control
valve (2) (left position from top view)
3-2
Open or close the speed control valve until the desired stroke
time rotation is achieved
Make rotation test to verify the correct stroke time in closing
rotation. Repeat the previous steps if necessary
Once the desired operating time is achieved tighten the safe-
ty blocking screw to lock the knob in place.
