1 Handle hose
For holding and controlling the pole pruner.
2 Coupling sleeve
The coupling sleeve connects the handle
hose to the shaft.
3 Wing screw
The wing screw clamps the handle hose to
the shaft.
4 Shaft
The shaft connects all components.
5 Chain scabbard
The chain scabbard protects against contact
with the saw chain.
6 Locking lever
The locking lever holds the battery in the bat‐
tery compartment.
7 Ergo lever
The Ergo lever holds the release slide in posi‐
tion when the trigger is released.
8 Release slide
The release slide releases the trigger.

9 Carrying ring
The carrying ring is for attaching the carrying
system.
10 Trigger
Switches the pole pruner on and off.
11 Control handle
For holding and controlling the pole pruner.
12 Battery compartment
The battery compartment holds the battery.
13 Chain sprocket
The chain sprocket drives the saw chain.
14 Oil tank cap
The oil filler cap closes the oil tank.
15 Guide bar
The guide bar supports and guides the saw
chain.
16 Saw chain
The saw chain cuts the wood.
17 Tensioning screw
The tensioning screw is used to adjust the
chain tension.
18 Branch hook
The branch hook is used to pull the sawn-off
branch out of the tree crown.
19 Nut
Secures the chain sprocket cover to the pole
pruner.
20 Chain sprocket cover
Covers the chain sprocket and secures the
guide bar to the pole pruner.
21 Button
The button activates the LEDs on the battery.
22 LEDs
The LEDs indicate the state of charge of the
battery and any faults.
23 Battery
Supplies power to the pole pruner.

Meanings of the symbols that may be on the pole
pruner and battery:
This symbol marks the saw chain oil tank.
This symbol shows the direction of
rotation of the saw chain.
Rotate in this direction to increase the saw
chain tension.
This symbol indicates that the guide
bar and saw chain must be attached.
