1. Dolby Level Adjustment <AE>
Setting : • Test tape :
• Test point :
• DSL :
• Tape selector :
• Dolby SW :
• Volume :
• Adjustment points : Soldered patterns
Procedure : Short the patterns via solder as shown in the
table so the Dolby NR level is 32 mV ± 1.0 dB.
Adjust so the specifications are satisfied in both
the forward and reverse directions. Connect 10µF
/16V coupling capacitors between test points and
test equipment (connect the positive terminals to
the test points).
SOLDER PATTERN –

• Dolby :
• DSL :
• Tape selector :
• Volume :
Method : Play back (FWD) the test tape and adjust SFR301 so that
the frequency becomes 3015 Hz ± 10 Hz. Then confirm
WOW is less than 0.50%.
