To Pump Down the MSD

Procedure
1 Open the LCP/Analyzer window and close the vent valve.
2 Plug the power cord into the building supply.
3 Select Tune and Vacuum Control from the View menu in the MSD ChemStation.
4 When prompted, press the start button on the front of the instrument.
