Basic operations

The M5216 Meridian Business Set allows an ACD agent to answer ACD
calls, place or answer non-ACD calls, and operate available ACD and non-
ACD features. Supported features can be accessed using feature keys 2–14
(see Figure 3-2). Feature key 1 is reserved for the In Calls key and there are
two feature keys with fixed assignments (Mute Handset and Program).
Before attempting to operate the M5216, please refer to the M5216 Meridian
Business Set User Guide. (P0749052). This document is shipped with the set
and contains instructions for making calls and how to use various features.
